Blog | 23/01/20

Have you tracked mountain gorillas in the recent past or are you planning on tracking mountain gorillas soon? Or do you probably know anybody planning to track mountain gorillas? The International Gorilla Conservation Programme (IGCP), in partnership with Wildlife Friendly Enterprise Network (WFEN) and in collaboration with protected area authorities – ICCN, RDB and UWA have an exciting exercise for you and your friends – a tourism survey! The purpose of this survey is to assess compliance to mountain gorilla tourism rules. Taking the survey also gives you an opportunity to share your opinions and feedback that helps conservationists and park managers to put in place measures that safeguard and secure the future for mountain gorillas as well as improving the tourism experience.
