Certified Gorilla Friendly tourism is a set of standards designed to ensure a rewarding experience for tourists and mountain gorillas alike. Tourists learn visitation guidelines that ensure the least disruption and behavior change of the mountain gorillas. These guidelines will minimize human-gorilla interactions and prevent disease transmission to the gorillas.
